Fae Owl Night - Faery Ink new image

Image
Fae Owl Night  is totally magical and is just the perfect image for a CAS card. I really do love owls.  Probably more so because my dad loves them and whenever I can find a great image with an owl I know that I can make a little card for him just to say hello and that I'm thinking of him.  It's my turn to host the blog at  Faery Ink  and here's the make! But I also know that lots of people love owls and Faeries proably because they are mysterious and so very wise so this new image  Fae owl night  is sure to be a favorite of many.

Rosalie - Art by Mi Ran

Image
Hello everyone!  Hope you are all doing good.  Today I'm sharing a card that I did for the theme of the month of February which is CAS.  OH my world!!!!!  Have you ever tried to do CAS with Art of Mi Ran images?!?  It's just sooooo hard! LOL they just seem to call for embellishments. But I think I managed ok because I was using the adorable  Rosalie . And well she's just so cute that it was EASIER to leave her be the center of all the attention on the card... but I still had to fight with myself to not put a lot of flowers lol  And I also went with a different color palette than my usual so it's more pastels for this card!  Thinking we need some warmth and flowers here. So hoping to bring spring along with this card.

Bird bath

Hello everyone!  Hope you had a fabulous Saturday!  I spent mine going to the passport office this morning with our paperwork and trying to get our new passport... Took over 2 hours... yikes ... And then it was some office work :(  But I did get a few last hours of the day playing!!!  And that felt sooooo good!  I really miss my "studio".  I prefer now after doing the WOYWW to call it a "studio" than my laundry/craftroom ;)  Seems more creative!!! So I made some DT cards which I can't show you... but I also did some cards for the progressive freebie challenges that I do!  This time it's for the fabulous Outlawz one.  It's called Bird Bath and it's from Sandi Samples

I saw the indication for the special woman... and my mom loves trees... missed out on the flower part sorry)  So you do better than me with the flower aspect ok?!?  ;)  Hope Sandy does't kick my butt to the curb for not following the rules...  Could I say that it's the topiary early spring... without the flowers?!?  Do you think this will be saving me?!?
