Goodmorning everyone!  Just want to start off by saying how happy I am that I discovered the blogging world!  I'm meeting via the internet such wonderful people and getting to use images that are fantastic. Talking of fantastic, while looking for some image some time ago, I came across a blog  All glued up  and there was a wonderful Freebie called Albert.  Now I just loved him so much and had been wanting to color him up for awhile.  Yesterday was the perfect opportunity.  And I had just the challenges in mind ;0  how wonderful is that. I didn't use a sketch this time. It's my own creation ;)  I created the sentiment with word art.  I used some of my Creative memories paper and some dew drops from Robin's nest.  I put glossy accent on the lights and the windshield.  Albert is colored using my Distress pens, copics and Prismacolor pencils.  And the shapes are done with my wonky rectangle nestabilities. I'm entering this in the following challenges:  C

Wishful Thinking

Today I was really lucky.  Even if my husband left to see his mother with 2 of my kids, the other 2 were old enough and responsible enough that I could still go away for a bit.  I went to a crop day offered by Scrapbook Centrale, with 2 friends Chrystiane and her daughter Shanny. I colored for a big part of the day and learned a new technique with a make and take.  Of course I wanted to try it out... so I bought the sparkles to be able to do it too.  I had just the perfect image to use it with and found the perfect sketch for it. Here's my card: I used a great digi image that I found on Stitchy Bear Stamp which is by Floppy Latte Design.  It's called Wishful thinking. I used Jewel Glitter Ritz powder that I burnished. And the paper is from K & cie.  The sentiment is from Impression obsession. I used this sketch: I'm entering this card in the following challenges: Eat sleep stamp  - sketch Digi darlas  - Thinking of you Divas by design challenge

Hello everyone.  I would like to start by saying that my card Cancer for my MIL won 1st place at Jackson's Digital challenge.  You can see the badge on my sidebar!  So very happy and proud!  Hope my MIL likes it as much when she gets it... no news from them today. I will keep you guys posted since I'm sure all the good vibes you have sent have helped. Now onto tonight's post. Tonight I decided to make a card that I can send to my step-mother for mother's day.  Shhhh don't tell her ;)  Luckily my dad and her don't have internet at home.  So unless she checks from work... she won't find out.  I'm doing the Pile it on challenge.  So trying to fit as many challenges as possible... well almost... 10 I think is enough ;)  Don't you think? I used my beautiful Seraphina angel stamp from Kraftin Kimmie.  I bought her during Christmas time if I'm not mistaken... and had yet to stamp her up.  I figured this was perfect because my step-mom is quite an
