Just because...

It's been sooooo long since my last post lol since Tuesday morning... Wow feels like forever!  I did some cards this week but they are for later... so no post to show you.  But tonight I decided to play :D I really wanted to participate in the blog hop that will be going on at  Create with TLC .  I also wanted to start making some hostess gifts!  I had a great idea for one. So here's my great idea :D  I used the fabulous image from Digi Darlas Birdhouse Flower Pot.  I thought it was a great all purpose image to use.  Sometimes we have images that are way to specific... This one makes a wonderful hostess gift I think. So to make this card, I used some paper from K& Cie it's a double sided paper so I used the paper on one side then on the other side for the die cut.  What's fantastic, is that it was a left over piece!!!  Love when I get to use my stash. The cardboard that was used for the wine bottle is from Recollection that I purchased at Michaels.  I u

Papelitos Challenge # 14 - Flowers

Image
This week at  Papelitos stamps  our challenge is about flowers.  So you have to show us some flowers. For this card I chose to play with the wonderful Claudia (she has cute little flowers in her hair :D ) and I seem to be in a dark mood.... so went for a darker type of card. I used paper from the fabulous DCWV paper pack - Midnight spell.  I used my grand label 4 and Label 11 for the sentiment.    I used a MS punch for the web border.  I also used some Robin's Nest Dew drops. I used my copics to color up Claudia and distressed it with Black soot distress ink. Isn't she a cute little vampire?  See the sharp little teeth on her?!? Here's a look at the fabulous sentiment from  Create with TLC .  I made the little stick pin to go with it. I made the flower using some cupcake holders for Halloween that I purchased at Michael's!  YAY we now have them in Québec... but their prices are much higher than the States... so will have to continue shopping when

Digi Makeover Challenge # 56

Image
This week at  Digi makeover stamp  we have a sketch for the challenge!  And it's such an easy one :D  So no reason not to play with us. For my card I used Donna Fairy.  This was perfect because I needed to send a few get well cards. The paper is from my stash.  It was used last week on one of my cards.  So happy when I can reuse some paper!  I used Divine Swirl Cuttlebug embossing folder.  I added some Robin's Nest Dew drops.  I used my long classic rectangle to cut out the digi and my scallop and classic circle for the sentiment all from spellbinder. I colored the digi with my copics.  I added some stickles to the wings and some glossy accent to the syringe to make it look more real.  I colored her up in pink in honor of the Breast Cancer month.  I used Worn lipstick distress ink all around the digi and the sentiment. The sentiment is from  Create with TLC .  I thought this was a great one to make someone smile...  even if they are sick. Here's the

For my 1st card I used  Scarecrow & Sunflowers from Eureka. For this card I used ppaer from Bobunny - Apple cider collection (I really really love that paper).  The leaves are from Recollections (I purchased them at Michaels on sale :D)  I added a button from my stash.  I used Grand label 4 from spellbinder to cut out the digi.  I also added a flourish made from a memory box die the whimsical flourish. The digi was colored using my copics.  I added some ripe persimmon distress ink to the edge. And here's the sentiment from  Create with TLC  that I colored with my distress ink. My second card was made using a wonderful digi from A Day for Daisies.  It's called Spooky fall tree! To make this card I used paper from Le P'tit bloc by Toga.  I used grand label 1 and l
