Hello everyone, I'm here tonight to show you a card that I made for a colleague of mine that is leaving my work place. The image that I have used is from Sandra Caldwell and you can find this image here in the store. And right now it's on special at 1.5$ because you can use it in a FB challenge in the Sandra Caldwell Fan group. To make this I used a sketch from Paper Play Sketches . And here is my card. The paper that I used was from my favorite stack of paper from Me and my minds eye - Moments.  It's a very old paper pack but I LOOOOVE it and I am at the last one of 2 packs lol.  I used my scallop and regular circle from Spellbinder.   The image was colored with my copics and then fussy cut out.  The wings were covered with some gel pen. I'm entering this in the following challenges: Paperplay sketches  - the sketch of this week Sandra Caldwell Stamp fan fb group  - Bee silly Through the purplehaze challenges  - Anything goes Double D challenge

Happy Friday to you all!  I'm so tired this week it's crazy... and we lose one sleeping hour on the weekend... that will be HARD lol.  But at least spring is coming and that is good.  Right now however it's still really really cold so we are still feeling as though it's still winter. Anyway, Sandra has made some great new release images!  And I'm sharing one with you all.  Just love it.  It was perfect to send a little hello to my stepmom who loves rabbits.  So I made her a postcard.  You can see the process here: and here is the look at the postcard finished!  It's a real mixed media piece because there's loads on there. I have used paints, ribbon, tissue paper, left over other papers and to finish it off a pitt pen marker all this on a cereal box cardboard. The image was colored with my copics and then fussy cut.  I made the sentiment in a word document and fussy cut it out as well.  On the back end side there's a postcard blank base that

Hey!  Happy Friday to you all and TGIF it's been one of those weeks that I'm sure happy to see coming to an end.  The ending however is pretty awesome because it's coming with a new digital image from Sandra Caldwell that you can find in her Etsy store here . And the name of this fun image is Team Mom.  Now when I saw the fingers it gave me the inspiration to do this because with 4 kids I have often made this comment.... You can see the making of this journaling out of the box (JOOTB) in the following video And here is a closer look at the piece. I made the sentiment on a word document and then cut it in parts.  The backgrounds was made on a cereal box cardboard.  I used Acrylic paints, book pages , envelopes, stencils.  The image was colored with my copics and I fussy cut her out. I'm entering this in the following challenges: As you like it challenge  - other than a card and why - I love journaling on little cardboard because I get to tell a story

Bloom with sunshine - Mixed media journaling

Hey everyone!  How is the week going for you?!?  In my case I need more sunshine!  And I have done just the perfect spread for this.  I have used the new freebie of The East wind if you are registered for the newsletter here . I really needed to do some journaling!  and bright colors! You can see the making of this here And here is the spread.  I have used some acrylic paints as well as stencils and left over bits of papers. The stamping was done with a silicone mat.  I have colored the image with my copics and then fussy cut her out.  The sentiment is an altered card that I got in a swap!  Just love it and needed to include it in my make.  I didn't want it to be fixed permanently because my swap partner made this beautiful on both sides... So really wanted to be able to still see the other side.  I used some washi tape to fix some acetate down to make a pocket.  That's why you see the glare. I'm entering this spread in the following challenges: Digi choo
